Our semi-detached house is located in the small village of Ballum in the middle of Ameland. From the port it is 10 minutes by car to the house, by bike 20 minutes and a bus takes you directly from the port to the nearby bus stop.
Our holiday homes are located at the end of the street "Strandloperspoor" and offer relaxed tranquility without street noise, as it is a dead end. So you can relax in complete peace in the garden. You can also enjoy the direct proximity to the forest, the connected nature reserve and the nearby dunes. It is only 10 minutes to the beach.
Equipment features
Our holiday homes "Strand" and "Loper" are thatched semi-detached houses with two independent parties. Both houses offer you the same level of comfort - they are only built in mirror image to the other.
In total, both houses together offer space for up to 10 adults. Both semi-detached houses offer space for 5 people each on a living space of 130m² (= 260m² for 10 people). The semi-detached house stands on a total land area of approx. 2600m² with a large fenced garden surrounded by trees and plants. Every party has a furnished terrace with a barbecue area, which is both perfect for relaxing and inviting you to spend barbecues with family or friends.
ground floor
The ground floor of each party with a direct connection to the garden offers a large eat-in kitchen with a cooking and dining area for up to 8 people. The kitchen leads into the spacious living room with a cozy couch area. The bathroom with shower, a separate toilet and a small storage room are also located on the ground floor.
1st floor
There are three bedrooms upstairs. Two double rooms and one single room, in which a cot can also be added if necessary.
All bedrooms are equipped with a wardrobe, mirror and cloakroom. In addition, two of the rooms have their own washbasin.
Property
The large gate of the driveway leads directly to the in-house parking lot, which offers space for two cars. There is another parking space at the back of the house. There is also another parking space for you in front of the property. A storage room connected to the house has been set up for the bicycles.
The natural planting of the property protects against unwanted looks, an additional natural fence enables you to let children and dogs play outside without hesitation. Through the many windows in the house and the large glass front of the living room, the garden is unrestricted.

Our caretaker is available at any time for a contact person on site, from whom you will also receive the key for the house on the island.
